How to Play Castle Escape
Objective
Fight your way out of a castle overrun with enemy soldiers and officers. Eliminate all enemies in each wave to progress to the next level and survive as long as you can.

Game Rules
- 1Two enemy types patrol the castle: soldiers (green, slower, deal 10 damage) and officers (dark gray, faster, deal 15 damage and are worth more points)
- 2All enemies have 40 HP and each bullet deals 20 damage, so every enemy takes exactly 2 shots to defeat
- 3Your character auto-aims at the nearest enemy - focus on movement and dodging rather than aiming
- 4Enemy speed increases by 0.2 per level on top of their base speed, making later waves significantly faster
- 5Each wave spawns 2 + (level x 2) enemies, so waves grow quickly as you progress
Scoring System
Soldiers are worth 100 points and officers are worth 150 points. Since officers are faster and deal more damage, they reward more for the added risk. Clear waves quickly to keep racking up points.
Tips & Strategies
Beginner
- Every enemy takes exactly 2 shots to kill - learn the rhythm of shoot-shoot-move to next target
- Officers (dark gray) are faster and deal 50% more damage than soldiers, so prioritize them when they are close
- Both WASD and Arrow Keys work for movement, so use whichever feels more comfortable
- Watch the health bars above enemies to track how many more hits they need
Advanced
- Officers move at 1.5 base speed vs soldiers at 1.0 - when both are approaching, target the officer first
- Use diagonal movement to stay ahead of enemy groups that converge on your position
- Enemy speed scales by 0.2 per level, so by level 5 even soldiers move at 2.0 speed - stay near arena edges for escape routes
- After enemies touch you they teleport to the top area, so reposition immediately to avoid being hit again from a new angle
- Your auto-aim switches targets when a closer enemy appears, so be aware of sudden aim changes mid-fight
Pro
- At level 5+, waves have 12+ enemies - use tight arc movements along the bottom wall to funnel enemies into a firing lane
- Master the 2-shot kill timing to eliminate enemies the instant they enter range without wasting movement
- Aim for level 8+ survival where enemy counts exceed 18 and speeds are above 2.6, requiring near-perfect kiting
- Track the score differential between officers and soldiers - target officers when safe to maximize points per wave
