How to Play Combat Arena
Objective
Defeat your AI opponent in a one-on-one 2D fighting match. Deplete your enemy's 100 HP health bar using punches, kicks, and a devastating special attack before they drain yours.

Game Rules

Scoring System
Win the fight by reducing the enemy's HP to zero. A 'FATALITY!' message appears when you win. The enemy AI attacks for 12 damage when in range, so blocking and spacing are essential to victory.

- Use kicks (K) over punches (J) when possible - kicks deal 12 damage versus 8 for punches, making them more efficient
- Hold L to block when the enemy is close and attacking - blocking completely negates incoming damage
- Stay just outside the enemy's attack range and dash in with D to land a quick hit, then back off with A
- Focus on building your special meter by landing consistent punches and kicks before going for the big special attack

- Manage your position on the arena - avoid getting pushed to the edges where you have less room to maneuver

- Master the hit-and-run strategy: close distance, land 2-3 quick hits, then retreat before the AI can retaliate
- Save your special attack for when the enemy cannot easily dodge - catch them during their attack recovery window
- The AI attacks about 65% of the time when in range, so baiting attacks with close positioning then blocking gives consistent openings
- Chain a kick immediately into a special when your bar is at 90+ for maximum burst damage of 47 in quick succession
