The classic Midwestern trick-taking card game!
Dealing cards...
Euchre is a classic American trick-taking card game that's especially popular in the Midwest. Played with a 24-card deck (9s through Aces), it's known for its unique trump system featuring the "Right Bower" (Jack of trump) and "Left Bower" (Jack of same color).
Four players form two partnerships. Each hand, players bid to make trump, then try to win at least 3 of 5 tricks. Score points by making your contract or "euchring" your opponents when they fail to make theirs.
This browser version lets you play against AI opponents anytime. Perfect for practicing your Euchre skills or enjoying a quick game during a break!
When the upcard is shown, decide to "order it up" (make that suit trump) or pass. If all pass, pick any other suit.
Play a card of the led suit if you have one. Trump beats other suits. The Left Bower counts as trump!
Win at least 3 of 5 tricks to score. Win all 5 for a "march" (2 points). Get euchred if you fail!
First team to 10 points wins the game!
