How to Play Platform Hero

Objective

Guide your hero across platforms, collect all golden coins, avoid or stomp on patrolling enemies, and reach the green flag at the end of each level to complete it. You start with 3 lives -- losing them all ends the game.

Game Rules

  • 1Collect golden coins scattered across platforms to earn 100 points each
  • 2Stomp on enemies by landing on top of them to defeat them and earn 200 points
  • 3Touching an enemy from the side costs you a life and resets your position
  • 4Falling off the bottom of the screen costs you a life
  • 5Reach the green flag at the far right of the level to earn 1000 bonus points and complete the level
  • 6You start with 3 lives -- when all lives are lost, the game is over

Scoring System

Collect coins for 100 points each, stomp enemies for 200 points each, and reach the end flag for a 1000-point level completion bonus. Your total score is displayed in the top-left corner of the screen.

Beginner

  • Focus on reaching the flag first before worrying about coins -- survival matters most
  • Only jump when standing on a platform; you cannot double-jump in mid-air
  • Watch enemy patrol patterns before moving -- they bounce back and forth between set boundaries
  • If you fall off a platform, you respawn at the start with one fewer life, so be careful near edges

  • Stomp enemies from above by jumping and landing on their heads -- this earns 200 points and gives you a small bounce
