Toggle Backgrounds

Switch between checkerboard, white, black, and grey backgrounds to better see transparent areas or light/dark images.

Use Keyboard Shortcuts

Press + to zoom in, - to zoom out, R to rotate, F to flip, Space to fit, and Esc to reset. Much faster than clicking buttons.

Use your mouse scroll wheel to zoom in/out, pinch to zoom on touch devices, or drag the zoom slider. You can also double-click any part of the image to zoom into that specific area. The current zoom percentage is always displayed.
For JPEG images, we parse and display camera make/model, date taken, exposure time, aperture (f-stop), ISO speed, focal length, GPS coordinates, flash status, and image dimensions from the EXIF header.

Yes. Animated GIFs play their animation in the viewer. Note that rotation and flip transformations are applied via CSS so the animation continues to play smoothly.
There is no hard limit since everything runs in your browser. Very large images (50MP+) may be slower to render depending on your device. For best performance, images under 25MB work great.
