If you have multiple pages selected, click 'Reorder' to change the page sequence. Drag pages to rearrange them or use the arrow buttons. The final PDF will follow this exact order.

Tips for Page Extraction

Use Invert for Excluding Few Pages

When you want most pages except a few, select the pages to EXCLUDE, then click Invert. This flips your selection to include everything except those pages.

Reorder After Selecting

The Reorder button appears after selecting 2+ pages. Use it to change the sequence in which pages appear in the extracted PDF. Great for reorganizing content.

Watch the Order Numbers

The small numbers on selected pages show extraction order. If you need a specific sequence, watch these numbers as you click, or use reorder mode to adjust after selecting.

Range Syntax

In range mode, use commas for individual pages (1,3,5) and hyphens for ranges (1-5). Combine them: 1-3,10,15-20 selects pages 1-3, page 10, and pages 15-20.

Yes! After selecting pages, click the 'Reorder' button. This opens a list view where you can drag pages to rearrange them or use the up/down arrow buttons. The extracted PDF will contain pages in exactly the order shown. This is great for reorganizing content while extracting.
The small number badges on selected pages show the extraction order. '1' means that page will be first in the extracted PDF, '2' will be second, and so on. When you click pages in sequence, they're numbered in that order. Use reorder mode to change the sequence after selecting.
Yes, pages are copied exactly as they appear in the original PDF. There's no recompression or quality loss. Text, images, fonts, vector graphics, and all content remain pixel-perfect. The only change is that unselected pages are excluded from the new file.
Extract Pages keeps only the pages you select - you're choosing what to KEEP. Remove Pages deletes the pages you select and keeps everything else - you're choosing what to DELETE. Use Extract when you want just a few pages from a large document; use Remove when you have a few unwanted pages.
Yes! Click any pages anywhere in the document. Extract pages 1, 5, 10, and 25 to combine them into a single new PDF. Use range mode to quickly select combinations like 1-3,5,10-15. The resulting PDF contains only your selected pages.
No fixed limit. You can extract 1 page or 500 pages - whatever you need. Since processing happens in your browser, very large PDFs (hundreds of pages) may take longer to generate thumbnails. For huge documents, the actual extraction is still fast once pages are selected.
Links on extracted pages that point to other extracted pages continue to work. Links pointing to pages that weren't extracted will no longer function (those destinations don't exist in the new PDF). Bookmarks for included pages are preserved; bookmarks for excluded pages are removed.
Currently, each page can only appear once in the extracted PDF. If you need a page to appear multiple times, extract first, then use our Merge PDF tool to combine the extracted PDF with itself, positioning the duplicates where needed.
No, password-protected PDFs that restrict content extraction cannot be processed. You'll need to unlock the PDF first using our Unlock PDF tool (you'll need the password). After unlocking, you can extract pages normally and optionally re-protect the result.

Your PDF is never uploaded to any server - it stays on your device the entire time. When you close the browser tab, all data including thumbnails and the extracted PDF are erased from memory.
Select All marks every page for extraction (useful as a starting point before deselecting a few). Clear Selection removes all selections. Invert flips your selection - selected pages become unselected and vice versa. This is helpful when it's easier to select pages to exclude rather than include.
